Dear Parents,
I'd like to thank everyone who was able to come to last weeks Halloween party. I know the kids had a great time. I'd also like to remind parents that next week will be our parent-teacher conferences. I haven't met all of you yet, so I'm looking forward to finaly getting a chance to chat with you.
Halloween week was so busy we fell behind a bit in science, so we've spent the most part of the week geting caught up on our work. This week we started learning about ecosystems and the different foood chains and food webs that exist in each of them.
Willy has been doing well. I feel a little bad though. I was teasing him earlier in the week, and he got a little upset. I'm sorry Willy...
Joe is doing good. He still needs to study harder for his vocabulary tests though.
Sean is doing great! I'm not sure if I mentioned this, but he was the only student to get a 100 %on on his vocabulary test.
Steven has been studying his vocabulary during his free time. It's good to see he's been putting more effort into class.
Richard always surprises me during science class. He's very smart, and he always has intersting things to add to class discussions.
Question:
Who did the mayor dedicate the garden to? Why do you think he did that?
